THE TREE OF LOVE

I will lie down
under the shade of the tree
that caresses your memory,
your voice, your words.
I will sigh
longing for your kisses
and I will dress myself
in the song of the bird that ask for your return
filling you with verses.
I will look at the stars
I will think about the moon
and in a thousand beautiful things.
In the darkness of the night
I will see your black eyes
and I will wake up next to you.
With my feelings
i will bring your heart
to the island of passion,
to the path of flowers;
to the tree of love.

EL ÁRBOL DEL AMOR
Me recostaré
bajo la sombra del árbol
que acaricia tu recuerdo,
tu voz, tus palabras.
Suspiraré,
añorando tus besos
y me vestiré en el canto del ave
que pide tu regreso
colmándote de versos.
Miraré las estrellas,
pensaré en la luna
y en mil cosas bellas.
En la oscuridad de la noche
veré el esplendor de tus ojos
y amaneceré junto a ti.
Con mis sentimientos
traeré tu corazón
a la isla de la pasión,
al camino de las flores;
al árbol del amor.
