Poema publicado el 29 de Junio de 2010

This is London:

Arriving at Heathrow and approaching by tube
you are entering central London.
The underground train first goes up passing
Chimney houses along the ride in a beautiful
landscape to then go back underground.
I get off in Queensway station just to walk
Bayswater road, looking the green of Hyde park!

One day later I´m walking around the park
and is not just a walk but many streets
to pass by and to my surprise a huge lake
inside.Nice place to easy breathe and sit the sun.

If you like let´s take a tourist bus.
I read my map and an ad says:
"Good girls go to heaven but bad ones come to London"
and after passing the Jackson´s tool works ..a young man
shouts: "...so does mine!"Round the corner Piccadilly Circus appears
bound for Trafalgar!!

Don´t forget about Kensington and Notting Hill!, says an older woman.

Going all around the town just with only one ride.
From West-end eastward...and also northward
to south crossing the river looking so many
bridges,Parliament Houses and its Big Ben
while ships sailing the Thames, when your face
makes me smile in this happy day.

And already coming back so glad
"Look at that Church" says an englishman
before Saint Paul´s, standing in upper deck, ".....This is London!"No doubt a must place to pass by.Juan José de Celis-COPYRIGHT2010.
